Slot Canyon Tour – Orderville, Utah
On our national park road trip out west, I surprised everyone with a quick stop in Orderville, Utah to tour a couple of slot canyons just outside of Zion National Park. I booked our tour through Viator.

From Springdale, Utah we had about an hour drive to Orderville, Utah via the beautiful Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway.

Our tour operator was Roam Outdoor Adventure Co. in Orderville, Utah.

Our tour guide was Weston Daley. He was great and we highly recommend requesting him as your tour guide. Weston was great because he was personable, took great pictures of us, and gave us a thrilling UTV ride in places that weren’t part of the tour.

The trip out to the slot canyons was about 9 miles round trip through sand dunes and the entire tour lasted about 2 and 1/2 hours. Tom, Logan, Lindsay and I were all in one UTV with our guide, Weston.

Our first stop was at Upper Red Cave Slot Canyon. It was breathtaking.

We did some exploring and took tons of cool pictures.

Next we drove to Lower Red Cave Slot Canyon. The scenery was pretty cool.

We stopped and took some pictures at the entrance.

We did some more exploring inside the cave. Pictures can’t accurately show how beautiful the cave is.

When we left the cave, Weston asked us if we wanted to do some rock climbing on the way back. We said yes and then had the very best time on the whole tour. I asked Tom to take some pictures and video because I had my eyes closed. It was amazing, but a little scary to me.

Everybody was thrilled by their surprise tour of the slot canyons and we had the absolute best time with Weston.
